Post Waxing DO
♥ wear loose clothing for 24 hours
♥ if your skin feels hot, apply aloe treatment for 24 - 48 hours
♥ if your skin feels hot, is also acceptable to have a cold salt-water bath to reduce inflammation
♥ once you can have a regular shower and your skin is healthy, sugar scrubs and special ingrown products can be used a few times a week
♥ moisturizing should be a routine with a NON-SCENTED or ORGANIC moisturizer
Post Waxing DON'T
♦ do not expose waxed skin to sun or tanning bed for at least 48 hours
♦ do not use sauna or steam room, or any heat treatment for at least 24 hours
♦ do not bath or shower for 24 hours (lol, you can still clean yourself by other means)
♦ do not swim in chlorinated water for at least 24 hours
♦ do not have intercourse for 24 hours, unless you can avoid friction to the waxed body part (sweat + friction = ingrown)
♦ do not exercise for 24 hours (sweat = ingrown)
♦ do not apply body spray, deodorant, or makeup to waxed area for 24 hours
